Ingredients
  • Chicken - 1250g
  • Hot & spicy chicken fry mix powder - 4 tablespoons
  • Chili powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 100ml
  • Salt - As you want
  • Lime - As you want (Optional)
  • Onion - As you want (Optional)
Instructions
  1. Rinse the chicken pieces and score them.
  2. Add hot and spicy chicken fry mix powder. I used the KTC brand hot and spicy chicken fry mix powder. If you are in the United Kingdom, you can easily find this powder in the ASDA store. If not, try this powder in Amazon. Or else, you can use a different hot and spicy chicken fry mix powder.
  3. On top of that, add chili powder, salt, and water.
  4. Using your fingers mix well until totally combined. Let them marinate for at least 2 hours. After 2 hours, mix again before frying them.
  5. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan. Once the oil gets maximum heat, turn the flame to medium and fry the chicken pieces. It may take about 10 minutes for each trip.

Notes
1. If you are going to use a different hot & spicy chicken fry mix powder, I am not sure about the quantity you need to use.
2. If you don’t like spiciness reduce the amount of chili powder according to your taste.
3. Fry the chicken in medium to low flame.
